7 Days Classic Tanzania Safari

0700hrs: Breakfast at the lodge and then depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Whole day spent in the park with box lunches obtained from Arusha. Stretching for 50km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-metre high Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. The compact game-viewing circuit through Manyara offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience.

Later in the evening proceed to the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight.

0600HRS: After an early breakfast, the guests will descend over 600 meters into the crater floor to view wildlife with picnic lunches. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot without forgetting a large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.

After lunch in the picnic site in the crater around 1500hrs ascend and proceed to Serengeti National Park for rest, dinner and overnight at Serengeti Pure Luxury Camp.

Slowly with en-route game drive proceed to the Northern section of this park to check for migration as they cross the Mara River to and fro Masai Mara National Reserve.

0600HRS: Depart from the camp for an early morning game drive and return at the camp for breakfast around 0900hrs and later proceed to the airstrip for an hour flight back to Arusha out of Kogatende airstrip in Serengeti Mara.

0700hrs: Optional after breakfast at the camp the guests may will prefer to drive back to Arusha however it’s a long drive (At least 9 hrs drive).

On arrival in Arusha, the guests will proceed to Planet lodge for a day room use for pack repack and shower, depending on the flight time, the guests will further proceed to Kilimanjaro International airport for their international flight back home.
