Tarangire sees a good number of wildebeest and zebra as well as giraffe, buffalo, Thompson's gazelle, greater and lesser kudu, eland, leopard and cheetahs. The real prizes in the park are dwarf mongoose, Oryx and gerenuk - but viewings are very rare. Tarangire is one of Tanzania's finest birding destinations with Ashy Starling an endemic to Tanzania.

0600HRS: After an early breakfast, the guests will descend over 600 meters into the crater floor to view wildlife with picnic lunches. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot without forgetting a large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.
